An injury to Detroit Red Wings starting goaltender Jimmy Howard have put the chances that he's available for the Winter Classic in some doubt which in turn means that third-stringer Petr Mrazek might be suiting up.
If he does, he'll be ready to go with his brand new pads he received just for the game at Michigan Stadium on New Year's Day.

Why yes, those are some of the coolest pads you'll see in the NHL and should fit in awfully well in what figures to be a bone-chilling Ann Arbor day when the game is played, hopefully complete with some snow showers.
The question is if the rest of his gear will play along with the theme. Uusually Mrazek's mask features Family Guy character Peter Griffin seeing how he often plays for the AHL Grand Rapids Griffins. Maybe it's not too late to find a mask with Frosty for the day.
