With goals from Diego Costa, Marcos Alonso and Nemanja Matic, Chelsea on Monday relegated Middlesbrough and inched closer to Premier League glory. The 3-0 win at Stamford Bridge puts the Blues within three points of the title. A win Friday at West Brom will see Antonio Conte's men lifting the Premier League trophy.

Meanwhile, the Gunners secured a comfortable 2-0 win over Manchester United at home and now trail the Red Devils by two points with one less game played for fifth place in the Premier League table. United can still clinch a Champions League spot if it wins the Europa League. Liverpool also dropped precious points at home, settling for a scoreless draw to Southampton. If the season ended today who would be ...

Premier League champs: Chelsea
In the Champions League group stage: Chelsea, Spurs, Liverpool
In the Champions League play-off round: Manchester City
In the Europa League group stage: Manchester United, Arsenal
In the Europa League play-off round: Everton

The most points Tottenham can finish the season with is 86. Chelsea currently stands at 84 points. Thanks to the Spurs' hiccup at West Ham, Chelsea needs three points to secure the title. With upcoming matches Friday at West Brom and at home Monday against Watford, the Blues could very well lift the trophy in a week's time.

Chelsea is the only team that has officially clinched at least a spot in the Champions League group stage. The Spurs have clinched a spot in the Champions League, but there's still a scenario where they can finish fourth and settle for a spot in the play-off round. The following five teams are assured of at least a spot in the Europa League, but may still qualify for Champions League: Manchester City, Manchester United, Arsenal, Everton.
