Vanderbilt swept the weekly awards handed out by the SEC.

G Kyle Fuller was named the SEC's Player or the Week, while G Kevin Bright was named the SEC's Freshman of the Week.

Both received their honors due to their strong performances in Vanderbilt's 66-64 overtime victory over Xavier last Thursday.

Fuller, a 6-1 junior PG, hit 8 of 16 field-goal attempts for 25 points, 12 of which came during overtime. He hit 70 percent of his free throws and added two 3-pointers. He also had five assists, four rebounds, three steals and turned the ball over just twice despite running the point for almost the entire game plus overtime.

"That's awesome for him and almost embarrassing for the rest of us," Vanderbilt coach Kevin Stallings said (via the team's official website) of Fuller's dominating performance in overtime. "Good for Kyle. He made some huge plays."

Bright added 11 points and 10 rebounds for his second consecutive double-double. He's the first Vanderbilt freshman to record back-to-back double-doubles since F A.J. Ogilvy did it in 2007.
