No. 20 West Virginia blew a 12-point lead with under 11 minutes remaining in the second half against No. 13 Kansas on Saturday, and Mountaineers coach Bob Huggins made sure he wasn't there to see the complete collapse.

After a missed Mountaineers layup led to a dagger layup by Malik Newman on the other end in the waning seconds to give KU a 72-66 lead, Huggins was fuming about a no-call and earned not one, but two, technical foul calls in the same sequence. He was subsequently shown the door by referee Jamie Luckie.

Huggins definitely got his money's worth with the double technicals, and made sure to give referee John Higgins an earful before exiting stage left at Allen Fieldhouse to the cheers of gleeful Jayhawks fans realizing it was all but over.

After the game, Huggins didn't mince words when explaining what infuriated him.

"I've been doing this 40 years," he said. "I don't think I've ever been in a game where we shot two free throws. I don't think I've ever been in a game where the disparity was 35-2. I've never been in a game like that."

Kansas (21-6, 10-4 Big 12) completed the phenomenal late-game comeback to win 77-69, keeping just off the pace of league leader Texas Tech (22-4, 10-4).
