Clemson quarterback Deshaun Watson had to leave Saturday's game against Syracuse with what the team described as a bruised shoulder.
The injury does not seem to be all that serious, however, as Clemson said that Watson is available in the second half if needed. But after taking a 30-0 lead on Syracuse in the first half, the Tigers took a cautious approach.

It worked out just fine, too, as Clemson won the game with ease, beating Syracuse 54-0.
Really, the only thing this move will likely hurt is Watson's Heisman Trophy hopes. While the entire world has already assumed Louisville's Lamar Jackson will win the award -- and deservedly so -- Watson was still in the hunt, but only playing a half of this game won't help him catch Jackson in the race.
Still, Watson had a pretty decent first half as he threw for 169 yards and two touchdowns while also rushing for 39 yards and a third score.
