Peacock allowed two runs on five hits while striking out nine batters through 5.2 innings during Saturday's loss to Oakland in the second game of a doubleheader. He didn't factor into the decision.

The 29-year-old righty entered the game with a rock-solid 3.34 ERA, 1.32 WHIP and 11.6 K/9 through his 17 starts this season, and he's now allowed just five earned runs over 21.1 innings over his past four outings. However, with Lance McCullers back in the rotation, Peacock is likely returning to the bullpen. Peacock projects to be first in line to make a spot start if needed, though.
