Crisp is not in the lineup for Friday's game against the Pirates.
This looks like a routine day off for Crisp, who extended his hitting streak to eight games with a double in Thursday's contest. Khris Davis will return to left field as Jake Smolinski steps in for his first career start in center field against lefty Jeff Locke. Look for Crisp to be back atop the order Saturday against right-hander Chad Kuhl.
