Petricka was outrighted to Triple-A San Antonio on Wednesday.
Petricka will remain in Milwaukee's organization after passing through waivers unclaimed. The right-hander posted a 3.38 ERA, 1.50 WHIP and 3:6 K:BB through eight innings with the big club before being designated for assignment over the weekend.
