Harris will open the season on the disabled list after being diagnosed with compression syndrome in his arm, MLB.com's Jenifer Langosch reports.
Harris has been battling soreness all spring, and it is now clear that he is dealing with a nerve issue in his arm. He will be reevaluated after resting for two weeks, and will make a push for a bullpen job with the big club once he is back at 100 percent.
