Ryan (COVID-19 protocols) has been cleared to rejoin the team and participated in workouts Saturday, Gordon Wittenmyer of NBC Sports Chicago reports.
Ryan remains on the COVID-19 injured list, but he was able to participate in team activities Saturday and should be available going forward. Assuming he's fully healthy, the southpaw should have plenty of time to prepare for Opening Day.
