Micah Owings signs minor-league deal with Brewers

The Brewers signed first baseman and outfielder Micah Owings to a minor-league deal Friday.

Owings batted .265/.305/.480 at Triple-A Syracuse while with the Nationals. He is expected to report to the team's spring training complex in Arizona.
