Paredes (wrist) is aiming to resume baseball activities next week with the goal of playing in games before the end of spring training, Roch Kubatko of MASN reports.

If Paredes remains on track, he should be able to begin taking swings late next week, which would leave him with up to seven chances to get into a game before camp breaks. According to Kubatko, Paredes said that his wrist is feeling much better. That said, Paredes' long layoff may have severely hurt his chances at making the 25-man roster out of spring training.
