Padres' Jose Dominguez: Signs with Padres

Dominguez signed a minor league deal with the Padres on Wednesday, Matt Eddy of Baseball America reports.

Dominguez had a brief stint in the majors with the Rays last season, but spent the majority of the year at Triple-A where he struggled to the tune of a 6.18 ERA with 20 walks in 27.2 innings. He'll serve as organizational depth out of the bullpen.
