Pirates outfielder Travis Snider will elect to become a free agent, per SB Nation.

Snider struggled in his 87 appearances with the Orioles and Pirates this season, posting a .232/.313/.350 slash line to go along with just four home runs. He should at least get some interest in the form of a minor league contract, but it remains to be seen if Snider will find a spot with another major league club in the offseason.
