Romano (6-8) picked up the win Wednesday in a 7-3 victory over the Cardinals, giving up two runs on seven hits and a walk over six innings while striking out five.
The right-hander threw 66 of 99 pitches for strikes en route to his seventh quality start of the season. Romano will take a 5.07 ERA into his next outing Wednesday in Detroit.
