Ryan was reinstated from the paternity list Saturday.
Ryan has yet to pitch in a game this season, but it's only a matter of time before he has a chance to improve upon his 2.84 spring ERA. The lefty showed his mettle last season, posting a 3.07 ERA over 56 appearances and racking up a 35:15 K:BB, so he's likely due for a bigger bullpen role this year. Blaine Hardy was optioned back to Triple-A Toledo upon his return.
