Stewart has been placed on the 7-day DL at Double-A Chattanooga with right elbow tendinitis, Brandon Warne of ColdOmaha.com reports.
Stewart has a 3.14 ERA but just a 4.8 K/9 and poor 46:41 K:BB since being promoted to Double-A. The severity of the injury isn't clear and it's possible his season could be over.
