Palka is not in the lineup Tuesday against the Tigers.
With expanded September rosters, the White Sox have rotated four players into Palka's customary designated hitter spot. Wellington Castillo will be the one starting there Tuesday. Palka can also play the outfield corners, as he did in the last two games, but it seems his playing time will take a small hit down the stretch.
