Sanders was assigned to the D-League's Canton Charge on Friday, Sam Amico of FOX Sports Ohio reports.
Following a two-game stint with the Charge earlier this week, Sanders rejoined the Cavaliers ahead of Thursday's win over the Jazz, but didn't see the court in the contest. With the organization eager to have Sanders pick up some extended minutes following a two-year layoff from professional basketball, he may be in store for several more D-League appearances before he coach Tyronn Lue trusts him as a regular member of the Cavs rotation.
