Lakers' Dwight Howard: Making return to Lakers

Howard agreed Monday to a contract with the Lakers, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.

This deal marks Howard's third separate stint with the Lakers, most recently spending last season with the 76ers. Two years ago with Los Angeles, he averaged 7.5 points, 7.3 rebounds and 1.1 blocks while shooting 72.9 percent from the field in 18.9 minutes. He should occupy a similar role in 2021-22, though at 35 years old, the miles may start to catch up with him sooner than later.
