Jefferson signed a partially guaranteed contract with the Timberwolves on Thursday, Michael Scotto of Basketball Insiders reports.

Jefferson finished his senior campaign with Duke averaging 10.9 points, 8.4 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.9 blocks across 29.7 minutes, but failed to draw interest during the 2017 NBA Draft. A bit undersized for the power forward position in the NBA, Jefferson will still get a shot to impress the Minnesota coaching staff during training camp. That said, it will be an uphill battle for Jefferson to make the regular-season roster, so he may eventually have to start the 2017-18 campaign in the G-League.
