Gallman rushed 15 times for 72 yards in Sunday's 15-10 preseason win over the Chargers.
Gallman looked strong in his red and gold debut, flashing his north/south running style and gaining healthy chunks between the tackles. He did have an ugly drop on his lone target, but other than that it was a strong performance. The veteran tailback is competing for a backup job behind Raheem Mostert and Trey Sermon this preseason. Gallman will look to build on this outing when the 49ers take on the Raiders next Sunday.
