The Buccaneers placed Brown on the reserve/COVID-19 list Wednesday after he tested positive for the virus, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

The Buccaneers were reported to be one of the NFL teams with a 100-percent vaccination rate, so if Brown is indeed vaccinated, he'll be able to return to the team if he reports two negative tests 24 hours apart. By all accounts, though, it'll be difficult for Brown to clear the necessary hurdles to be cleared for game action Sunday, when the Bucs take on the Rams in Los Angeles at 4:25 p.m. ET. If Brown is inactive Week 3, Scotty Miller would be the biggest beneficiary, with Tyler Johnson next in line on the wide receiver depth chart and rookie fourth-rounder Jaelon Darden on hand to make his pro debut, if need be.
