Buccaneers' Richard Sherman: Dealing with Achilles injury

Sherman (Achilles) didn't practice Wednesday, Greg Auman of The Athletic reports.

Coach Bruce Arians wouldn't provide any clarity on how servere Sherman's injury is, but there doesn't appear to be too much cause for concern. The missed practice could just be a precautionary move as he works back from a serious calf issue. The veteran cornerback returned to action against the Bills for the first time since Week 6, playing a minimal role (25 percent of the team's defensive snaps).
