Buccaneers' Vincent Jackson: Totals 36 snaps in Week 7 prior to knee injury

Jackson (knee) totaled 36 snaps in the Week 7 loss to the Redskins before exiting the game in the third quarter with his injury.

Jackson was receiving his usual amount of run before getting hurt, but had turned in a surprisingly unproductive effort against the mediocre Redskins secondary. The veteran receiver posted his second consecutive one-catch effort after his breakout 10-catch, 147-yard effort in Week 4 versus the Panthers. Jackson's status for the Week 8 tilt against the Falcons remains up in the air at this point, but should become clearer as the week progresses. Despite his recent struggles on the stat sheet, Jackson should receive some additional looks upon his return with third receiver Louis Murphy (knee) out for the season.
