The Cowboys waived Hikutini on Friday, Michael Gehlken of The Dallas Morning News reports.
Hikutini did not see any game action during his time in Dallas. The tight end hasn't seen an NFL field since his 2017 season, during which he caught two out of three targets for 15 yards through four games with San Francisco. The 26-year-old will aim to compete for a depth role elsewhere in 2021.
