Wilson has been released by the Bengals.
Wilson signed with Cincinnati in late July to fill one of the team's final roster spots, but won't be able to stick around going into the regular season. The veteran made four tackles across three preseason appearances, but posted 44 stops and an interception in 13 games, including six starts, for the Chargers last season. As a result, he could garner some interest on the open market from teams looking for depth at safety.
