Williams, who the Steelers had signed to a reserve/future contract, has been waived, Ed Bouchette of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.
Williams, who spent time on the Steelers' practice squad in 2016, has yet to build off his promising rookie campaign with the Bills, with off-the-field and conditioning issues having stalled the 23-year-old's career since then.
