The Patriots placed Mason (calf) on the reserve/COVID-19 list Saturday, Field Yates of ESPN reports.
According to Andrew Callahan of The Springfield Republican, Mason didn't test positive for the virus, so he apparently came into close contact with someone who has COVID-19. Mason was already dealing with a calf injury and had an uncertain status for Sunday's game versus the Broncos. Hjalte Froholdt is expected to start at right guard until Mason can return.
