The Jets have released Jenkins (undisclosed) from injured reserve after the sides agreed to an injury settlement, per NFL Communications.
Jenkins was likely slated to spend the whole season on the list, but he will now be free to seek another opportunity as a reserve defensive lineman when healthy.
