Steelers' Shaun Suisham: Still recovering from torn ACL

Suisham is still recovering from a torn ACL on his non-kicking leg, which ended his 2015-16 season, Mark Kaboly of TribLive.com reports.

Suisham has yet to attempt a kick due to the injury he suffered over 10 months ago, and is unsure if he'll be ready for the late-July start of training camp. Chris Boswell, heading into his sophomore campaign, filled in for Suisham last season, converting 36 of 39 field-goal attempts and 27 of 28 extra-point attempts. The two are expected to compete for the starting job, but even if Suisham isn't able to win back the gig he's held for three seasons, he could find his way onto another team's roster given his impressive track record.
