Edmunds was released by the Steelers on Tuesday, Ed Bouchette of The Athletic reports.
With the offseason backfield additions of rookie first-round pick Najee Harris and free agent Kalen Ballage, Edmunds ended up on the outside looking in. Edmunds has 31 career carries for 140 yards and a touchdown since entering the NFL in 2017.
