Blackhawks' Anton Lindholm: Hits waivers

Chicago placed Lindholm on waivers Monday, Scott Powers of The Athletic reports.

Lindholm was never expected to make the Opening Night roster, but he's made 66 NHL appearances over the past four seasons, so he'll likely end up on Chicago's taxi squad. The 26-year-old blueliner tallied one assist in four games with the Avalanche last campaign.
