Blues' Zachary Sanford: Shoulder injury to keep him out for weeks

Sanford will be out for "a couple weeks" due to a shoulder injury that he picked up during the first day of training camp Thursday.

The 2013 second-round (61st overall) pick, who came over from the Capitals in the Kevin Shattenkirk trade last February, reportedly was hurt upon fighting for the puck during a practice session. He's essentially ruled out for the rest of training camp and most -- if not all -- of preseason.
