Borgstrom signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Capitals in July of 2022, per PuckPedia.
Borgstrom was bought out by the Blackhawks on Tuesday, but it didn't take him long to find a landing spot. Given the Capitals' stronger forward depth, the 24-year-old is likely to spend much of 2022-23 with AHL Hershey.
