Mayo struck at 3:16 of the first period, the first of 10 goals between the teams in a high-scoring affair. This was his first goal since his season debut Oct. 21. The 25-year-old blueliner has been more of a defensive presence this season, logging three points, 36 shots on net, 49 blocked shots, 29 hits and a minus-3 rating in 27 contests.
