Mayo was reassigned to AHL Henderson on Tuesday, per CapFriendly.
Mayo was called up as defensive depth with Ben Hutton (upper body) out for the Winter Classic on Monday. Unless the Golden Knights get an injured defenseman back, Mayo might be set to move between levels frequently in the near term.
