Mayo was put on waivers by the Golden Knights on Saturday.
Mayo was acquired by Golden Knights from the Coyotes in late February last season. While he played 15 games for Arizona with nary a point in 2022-23, he did not suit up for Vegas during the regular season or during the team's Stanley Cup playoff run. Should he pass through waivers, Mayo will see action with AHL Henderson in 2023-24.
