Flyers' Jakub Voracek: Protected by Flyers

Voracek was protected by Philadelphia and will not be available to Vegas in the expansion draft, NHL.com reports.

Voracek posted his third 60-point campaign over the past four years and also hit the 20-goal mark again last year. It was a bounce-back showing after he dropped to just 11 tallies and 55 points during the 2015-16 season. However, returning to his 2014-15 level of production (81 points) appears unlikely going forward. Voracek is probably best viewed as a supporting fantasy asset and not a high-end contributor at this stage of his career.
