Tokarski was summoned from AHL Rochester on Monday.
Tokarski served as Eric Comrie's backup in Thursday's 4-0 loss to Florida because Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen was out due to a lower-body injury. It's unclear at this time why Tokarski is back with the Sabres.
