Davies was placed on waivers Sunday, according to Chris Johnston of TSN.
Davies collected 11 goals, 23 points and 90 PIM over 66 games with AHL Rochester last campaign. He also played in one contest with the Sabres in 2022-23, logging just 8:33 of ice time versus Arizona on Dec. 17.
