Davies was recalled from AHL Rochester on Friday, according to Mike Harrington of The Buffalo News.
Davies will be insurance in case Jacob Bryson (lower body) is unable to go Saturday in Arizona. Davies was a healthy scratch in five games earlier in the season and was sent down to Rochester on Nov. 9. He has two goals and five points in 19 AHL games this season.
