Rousek (face) is expected to need a couple of days to recover after being injured in Tuesday's practice, coach Don Granato told Paul Hamilton of WGR Sports Radio 550. The 24-year-old forward will consequently be unavailable Wednesday versus Ottawa.
Rousek has two assists in nine contests this season. Jack Quinn's expected return from a lower-body injury coincidentally corresponds with Rousek's exit from the lineup.
