Sharks' Radim Simek: Close to return

Simek (upper body) won't play in Monday's game versus the Wild, Jessi Pierce of The Athletic reports.

While Simek will miss a fourth straight game, head coach Bob Boughner said that Simek was nearly cleared for Monday's game, per Sheng Peng of San Jose Hockey Now. In turn, there seems to be a good chance that Simek will return for Thursday's matchup against the Golden Knights.
