Stars' Jason Spezza: Doubtful for Monday

Spezza is considered doubtful for Monday's game against the Sharks after he exited practice Sunday due to back spasms, Mark Stepneski of the Stars' official site reports.

The Stars have little incentive to rush the veteran into action, so unless his back improves dramatically overnight, it seems they will be without a key piece Monday. Fortunately, the team has a decent shot at getting Jamie Benn (eye) back in the lineup, lessening the blow of Spezza's probable absence. Still, the team would need to not only shuffle their lines, but also may need to add a new face to the man advantage.
