  • Blue Jackets' Cam Atkinson: Leads charge in Game 3
    By RotoWire Staff

Atkinson scored an empty-net goal and added an assist in Sunday's 3-1 win over the Lightning in Game 3 of their first-round series. The 29-year-old winger is coming off a 41-goal regular season and hasn't missed a beat in the playoffs, scoring two goals and an assist through three games. Atkinson figures to be heavily involved in the Jackets' attack again Tuesday as they look to complete a stunning sweep of the Bolts on home ice.

  • Blue Jackets' Cam Atkinson: Reaches 40 goals
    By RotoWire Staff

Atkinson scored a pair of goals, including an empty-netter, in a 5-2 victory against the Predators on Saturday. With his first score, Atkinson posted his first 40-goal season and added to his career-best point total. Atkinson has experienced this career season with a high-water mark in the assists category as well, but he's also posted personal bests in shots on net and shooting percentage. He has 41 goals and 68 points in 76 games.

  • Blue Jackets' Cam Atkinson: Ends brief scoring skid
    By RotoWire Staff

Atkinson scored a goal and an assist in Tuesday's 4-0 win over the Islanders. He'd gone scoreless in his prior four contests, but Atkinson came up big in what was nearly a must-win game for the Jackets. With six games left on the schedule for Columbus, the 29-year-old sniper is now one tally shy of his first 40-goal campaign.

  • Atkinson scored two goals, one shorthanded, in Saturday's 4-1 win over the Penguins. His shortie came early in the second period after Phil Kessel blew a tire and coughed up the puck at the Pittsburgh blue line, giving Atkinson a clean breakaway for what proved to be the game-winner, and he capped his evening off with an empty-netter. The 29-year-old winger now has a career-high 38 goals and 63 points through 66 games, and if the Jackets hang on to a playoff spot, they will in large part have the two-time All-Star to thank.

  • Atkinson scored in regulation and beat Cory Schneider in the shootout during Tuesday's 2-1 win over the Devils. His career-high 36th goal of the season came just 52 seconds into the game, but the Jackets' offense fell asleep after that and only a big performance from Sergei Bobrovsky gave Atkinson another chance to play hero in the shootout. The winger is also one point shy of tying his career high of 62, set in 2016-17, as he puts the finishing touches on a breakout campaign.
