Jack Nicklaus made $33.33 at his first professional golf tournament

No, really, a T50 at the 1962 Los Angeles Open won't get you very much money.

Jack Nicklaus posted this great photo on his Instagram account of the first check he ever earned for $33.33.

According to the post Nicklaus finished T50 at the Los Angeles Open, Nicklaus' first as a pro.

Nicklaus would go on to make all 26 cuts in tournaments he entered that year, win the US Open, and make $60,000 in the process.

The joke's really on us, too, because Nicklaus made over $26 million in 2013. And he didn't even play.
