Under this alliance, InfoSpace.com will become a distributor of SportsLine USA's sports content, merchandise and premium services through a new sports channel that will be launched during the current quarter. The sports channel, InfoSpace Sports by SportsLine, will be available to InfoSpace.com's broad affiliate network of over 1,500 Web sites.
InfoSpace.com and the company's network of affiliates will have access to a wealth of sports-related news and information, team scores, statistics, features and polls ideal for everyone from the avid sports enthusiast to the casual sports fan. In addition, SportsLine has secured the rights to place all advertising and sponsorship sales on the sports channel in addition to becoming the exclusive provider of sports merchandise and collectibles through its online electronic commerce area, The Sports Store (www.TheSportsStore.com), as well as fantasy games and premium services.
