Asiacontent.com, SportsLine.com, and Sports.com Launch First Asian Sports Web Site in Singapore, sg.sports.com

Companies target Singapore's sports fans to kick off pan-Asian sports Internet business

SINGAPORE, LONDON, UK and FORT LAUDERDALE, FL (June 7, 2000) - Asiacontent.com, Ltd. (NASDAQ: IASIA), SportsLine.com, Inc. (NASDAQ: SPLN) and Sports.com Limited have combined forces to bring premium Internet and wireless sports results, news and e-commerce services to Asian audiences. The inaugural Web site was launched today in Singapore with the URL sg.sports.com. The site was developed by the three companies, who announced in March an intention to form an Internet joint venture to be called Sports.com Asia.

Asiacontent.com, which also chose English-speaking Singapore to kick off its CNET Asia, MTV Asia Online and E! Online Asia businesses, will roll out further local-language Sports.com Asia sites and services using its eight-country, multi-local Internet platform.

The site will integrate the most popular features of SportsLine.com, the leading global Internet sports media company, and its European subsidiary, Sports.com, the leading fixed and wireless Internet provider of European sports news and information and the official Internet media partner of Manchester United (www.manutd.com).

The new site will deliver local, regional and global sporting news and events including breaking stories, previews, real-time scoring, recaps and on the spot live local reporting of football, the world's most popular sport, including extensive coverage of S-League matches, Singapore's hottest football league. sg.sports.com will also provide coverage of golf, including equipment tests, profiles of Asian golf courses and destinations, and highlights of the Asian PGA Tour, as well as rugby, Formula One, and other sports of local and international interest. The site will leverage Asia's accelerating wireless and broadband penetration to deliver a range of interactive and multimedia content across these sports arenas.

"We are excited to be launching the first of our family of sports Web sites in Asia," said Chris Justice, CEO of Asiacontent.com. "Through the universal language of sports, we will build our audience and membership base, embracing sports fans from all sectors, from the region's keen golfers through to the massive local base of supporters of Manchester United and cricket fans across Asia."

Through the Asiacontent.com and DoubleClick Inc. (NASDAQ: DCLK) partnership in Asia, sg.sports.com will serve targeted online advertising messages to its users through the DoubleClick advertising network, and offers numerous customized sponsorship opportunities. In addition, the membership database will be leveraged for direct marketing services and online ticketing, while an online sports shop will offer exclusive sports memorabilia to Asian fans from major worldwide events such as Euro 2000 and Wimbledon.

"SportsLine.com and Sports.com have set a standard for global sports coverage and by joining the Asiacontent.com platform, we can rapidly and effectively localize our business for the world's fastest growing Internet region and extend the Sports.com brand," said Michael Levy, founder, CEO and chairman of SportsLine.com, Inc. and chairman of Sports.com Limited. "sg.sports.com will combine world-class international coverage with local reporting and insights, including exclusive rights to Asiacontent.com's established S-League community, SoccerAsia.net."

The next site being developed by the three companies is in Korea, and is slated to be launched later this month.
