LOOK: Twitter has jokes, memes and congrats after Cubs win World Series
The reactions were diverse
Anytime something big happens in the world -- or in the world of sports -- you can bet Twitter is going to find a way to make memes from it. That includes, of course, the conclusion of the 2016 World Series and, by extension, both the Chicago Cubs' 108-year championship drought and the Cleveland Indians' meltdown.
Let's take a look at some of our favorite tweets from the night that was, beginning with everyone's favorite -- Crying Jordan:
There were a ton -- a ton of 3-1-lead-related tweets:
"Hey dude, big favor... I'm at the park, but PLEASE log into my Twitter and delete all my 3-1 memes from June." pic.twitter.com/byxAqotUVv— CBS Sports (@CBSSports) November 3, 2016
"Hey fam... please tell me you didn't delete those dank 3-1 Warriors memes yet... you're not gonna believe what's happening here." pic.twitter.com/TgiCb4M8LF— CBS Sports (@CBSSports) November 3, 2016

Some that were in pure disbelief that the Cubs won:

And, finally, yes, a super-timely and -trendy Power Rangers reference:
Twitter, man. Most of the time you might find it annoying, but it's great for gems after these big moments.
